Client Background
This product was custom-developed by FCE for a U.S. client specializing in sensors and industrial automation equipment. The client required a quick-release sensor housing to facilitate maintenance and replacement of internal components. Additionally, the product needed to offer excellent sealing performance and weather resistance to adapt to various complex application environments.
Material and Application
The sensor housing is made of polycarbonate (PC) through precision injection molding. PC material offers the following advantages:
High strength and impact resistance, effectively protecting the internal sensor from external damage.
High-temperature resistance and aging resistance, making it suitable for various industrial and outdoor environments.
